Accountabilities and Key Roles:

  • Manage Arab Bank budgeting and financial reporting process of projects and IT across all functions in PLC and Non-PLC entities and ensure alignment with Arab Bank strategic objectives and board targets.
  • Centralized monitoring, tracking and monthly reporting of projects budget to manage new budget approvals, forecast spent, and submit new and in-flight budget.
  • Prevent overspending vs. approved budget , investigate variances and apply proper controls over budget changes requests and ensure alignment with E-Procurement and Finance records.
  • Revamp and automate projects and IT budget processes to enhance and streamline validation, approval and reporting workflows.
  • Monitor Acabes billing process to ensure proper control over strategic projects cash-flow.
  • Identify, validate and submit year-end accruals and ensure reconciliation with Finance.
  • Collect, consolidate, validate, review and report Arab Bank Information Systems’ annual operational and capital budgets across PLC and Non PLC entities to key stakeholders.
  • Support IT management in operational cost reduction initiatives and budget enhancements.
  • Manage telecommunication bills payment process through validation and timely payments in coordination with HR, IT, and Service Providers.
  • Manage IT purchase requests and purchase orders for budget adherence, monitor budget consumption and provide user support on E-Procurement and IT processing systems.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of IT expenses for Jordan and support other PLC countries with financial mappings and reconciliation.


Job Requirements:


Education:

  • Graduate degree in business or finance, computer since or IT related degrees ,preferably internationally recognized project management certification (e.g. PMP, MSP, APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).


Experience:

  • 10+ years experience of budget management within a corporate environment with extensive exposure to financial planning and reporting.


Competences:

  • Proven ability to focus on deliverables and prioritization of competing demands.
  • Proven structured approach to planning.
  • Proven combination of conceptual and analytical thinking that can turn a wide range of data into practical advice and solutions for the business.
  • Proven ability to build influential relationships with key stakeholders across an organization.
  • Proven coaching and facilitation skills to develop budget owners/stakeholders or similar.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.
