Job Summary:

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. This role involves developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a culture of engagement and development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee relations, address grievances, and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
  • Monitor HR metrics and analyze workforce trends to make data-driven decisions.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees to facilitate communication and conflict resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, This person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. Responsibilities:· Sell shipping, transport, and logistical services through sales calls and propose rates.· Provide sales results information by preparing sales reports and call results.· Maintain good relationships with clients.· Identify new business opportunities.· Maintain the customer's database and keep it updated.· Perform shipping operations as necessary.· Achieve assigned targets.Qualifications:· 2-3 years' quota-carrying sales experience in a shipping company.· Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.· Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Interested candidates must have a car that they can use for work.· Experience in RORO, Containers, and Forwarding is an advantage.
